After perfecting the potion that would make his hair spiky and purple, Richard graduated from Edinburgh University in Chemical Physics and now works as a Science Communicator. He tours science shows around primary schools in Scotland and communicates in festivals in Edinburgh and Abu Dhabi with the Edinburgh Science Festival, proving his credentials as a Ravenclaw.

 

    He is also a sketch comedian and writes and performs weekly with his sketch group Planet Caramel. He was once the only one of his friends to stay for a whole HP movie marathon he organised, so he got new friends.
